It's #HotWetPitch day! Lifting Waits is my first illustrated novelette in a setting I've spent years creating. A modern setting full of fantasy elements, centering grown ass adults.

Rowen is a soft, musclebound elf pining for the love of their life, Melody: a scatterbrained hobgoblin witch they knew nearly 15 years ago. Melody finds them just as the same forces that tore them apart the first time rear their ugly heads. With a record heat wave raising tensions in the city, can the lovers quench the flames long enough for cooler heads to prevail?

Lifting Waits is an illustrated novella of things worth waiting for, and people worth fighting for.
