I don't wanna cause too much grief with this, but this is something that annoys me: co-opting mental health terminology makes it harder for people with mental health issues to express themselves. This, and people saying theyre "OCD" when they're just miffed by disorganization, as two examples

My first thought was “wow I hope this guy didn’t give out his name because he could absolutely be charged” and yup, he is correct to stay anonymous.

This man’s account is shocking. His neighbors’ situation is shocking. The entire Chicago raid is shocking.

On the other side was a mom and her 7-year-old daughter, pleading for his help.
"I wasn't planning on letting her stay, but I didn't know what the hell was going on," the man said of his Venezuelan migrant neighbors. But he quickly relented. The little girl was inconsolable and hid under his bed.
"I didn't want them to take her," said the man, who didn't want to be named because he fears he'll be targeted by federal authorities for his actions.
"I gave her my bedroom, and I just told her,
'Just stay there. Don't open, don't, shh, just stay quiet," he recalled telling the mom and daughter as he choked back tears.

The statement is a true one, no matter who it comes from, that the Republican Party's actions are incongruent with the teachings of Jesus Christ of the Holy Bible. So whether or not you are religious is irrelevant: It just gives people a free red herring.

People are very aware that this is a business. Social media platforms need users. However you monetize it, users and their content are the product being sold. You don't get to play the "I'm giving you things for free, don't complain" game.
