Always helps to have some cheerleaders in your corner! The connection aspect of art is a large part of what makes it fun and fulfilling❤️ it makes the work parts of art feel worth it when someone resonates with what you make

I haven’t had artist friends in years, but I recently started interacting with a couple folks in a fandom, and drawing with them on the website Magma. It’s been super fun, silly and inspiring! Fandoms can be hit or miss for me sometimes, but everyone’s been really friendly & supportive so far :)

He feels like whenever he’s happy, it distracts from his purpose to support the ancient religious texts. He feels like whenever he lets himself be a real person, it’s an inappropriate act of defiance somehow that should be corrected.

He denies himself indulgence in anything that might fulfill him or give him a sense of individual identity, beyond his functionality as a cog in the prophecy machine. He feels guilty whenever people treat him well and make him happy bc he doesn’t feel like he’s even ALLOWED to be happy.

Art Styles are allowed to be different. What makes them "good" is subjective to the person viewing it. Some people will like it. Some people won't and that's okay.

You might think your art is horrible but you could also be someone's favorite artist. Please keep creating the world needs your art. 💙
