He denies himself indulgence in anything that might fulfill him or give him a sense of individual identity, beyond his functionality as a cog in the prophecy machine. He feels guilty whenever people treat him well and make him happy bc he doesn’t feel like he’s even ALLOWED to be happy.

So yeah, basically im having an uneventful, boring, pretty laid back week. Not much to report, really.

We didn’t have any classes today (thank fucking god, I physically/mentally/emotionally am unable atp), so I was able to attempt a nap or two after the morning shift today. The sleep deprivation is getting under control now.
But I didn’t eat much today, sadly.

I was uncontrollably sobbing about how tired I was. I hadn’t eaten dinner yet tho, and I was hungry and knew I needed food before bed. But it took me like 10 or 15 minutes to calm myself enough to just eat a breakfast sandwich, and that’s all I could manage before I had to go to sleep.

I’ve been severely sleep deprived and hungry basically all week, and probably more exhausted than I’ve ever been in my life. It got so bad that yesterday (my busiest class day from 8am-3pm w/ breaks no longer than 10mins in btwn AKA no lunch), I finally had a fucking breakdown.

For context, I’ve had a packed full school schedule all week + 4am wakeups for supervising animal care stuff for the 1st years in the morning, check-ins on the animals and restocking at noon, and 4-7pm cleanup at the end of the day + supervisor evals with my classmate.
