Clients with and without VGen accounts get email notifications! So they don't have to check VGen at all, just have to pay attention to emails 💕

(Praying for the day VGen gets an app so we can have push notifications as well)

If you didn't know tho, you can draft services and they won't count towards your total

So while your total open services limit still exists, you can essentially draft instead of closing and the drafts don't count

Just checking - are you talking about having a VGen artist account or being verified?

Getting an artist account is relatively easy and even has 2 weekly raffles for codes

Verification happens after you're on VGen and unlocks more things (biggest being no cap on services you can offer)

I'd imagine it runs the same risk as dm comms on any other platform. Possibly less risk if you're using block lists to moderate

Also fyi clients don't need a VGen account to comm unless you specifically turn on that setting for your account!

That's really good to know. I didn't recommend this myself as I don't use apple outside of my ipad and didnt know if it would cause issues to repeatedly swap apple ids associated with a device

Unfortunately I haven't seen affinity have any sort of official announcement about this anywhere so to my knowledge there's no information available beyond what users have tried

If you know someone else with an ipad who wouldn't use it you *could* try getting it on their ipad and linking it to an affinity account you own

However I don't know if the license is tied to your affinity account or the apple id, so you may not be able to transfer it
