I'm being so real right now, learn how to engage in media as art and not a reflection of your own real life morals. consume things that make you uncomfortable and understand why it makes you uncomfortable. Don't just base yours and others morals standings on the media you consume.

I wanted to work on my line art and while doing some research for guitar refs I kept seeing rock band group photo shoots, and I wanted to do one for these guys. There’s some with more crazy outfits but at least for their first one I think they’d go simple but cool.

Out of curiosity how do you get consent from a drawing. Like maybe you should worry less about whether or not a cartoon has rights and more about whether real life trans and Palestinian people do

I was looking for s/thing to post and this regency!au of bill&ted was definitely a high point for my digital works (c. Oct. 2020)

All characters depicted in this art work of fiction are consenting adults. And I didn’t see where you can add a default label to your account. It just appeared one day. I won’t appeal it because my account does have adult content, but at least give us the option when making our account to label it ourselves. We want to protect others if they don’t want to see this stuff!

Also, with the labeling system on here, I constantly get a second mod label when I’ve added the most accurate label I can for a specific post. Which is usually the “adult content” label.
If I could, I would add two when applicable, but I can’t! Maybe fix that too while you’re at it @bsky.app

I will not be removing any of my art that comes into question, but I guess I’ll make sure to include consent in the scenes I’ll draw in the future despite no real human beings are involved in anything I draw and is entirely a fictional idea.

While consent is important in real life spaces, fiction is an exploration of the creator’s feelings and consent cannot be clearly stated all the time. For us nsfw artist it’s fucking ridiculous to have to state this all the time. News flash, fiction is meant to explore unconventional topics.

There’s s/thing I keep thinking about, and I can’t remember when I first heard of yungblud but when I saw his performance during the vmas, it really made me want to draw Eddie in those super low-rise pants.
