NPR has reported several stories of Veterans caught in the VA Home Loan chaos after programs were cut.

Veterans forced into loan modifications are still LEFT BEHIND in financial jeopardy! Each action by Congress including the recent Reform Act does not help this group.

Veterans fear the VA's new foreclosure rescue plan won't help them
A pause in foreclosures after an NPR investigation may be of no help to many vets. They were already pushed into costly loan modifications after a move by the VA stranded them in a tough spot.

On this date, Matthew Shephard died 27 years ago. He was beaten, tortured, and left for dead on fence for being gay. Please keep him and his wonderful mother Judy in your thoughts. And let's all work for a world where such horrific things do not happen to anyone. ❤️🏳️‍🌈

Huge mistake by Trump to let the 4'10 freak Stephen Miller take center stage during his Presidency. The more people hear and see from Mini Himmler the more they are repulsed. Plus the ICE raids are horrific and inhumane.

Let’s be clear:

Republicans are 💯 responsible for the government shutdown. They don’t need a single vote from Democrats to reopen.

Republicans are 💯 responsible for firing thousands of federal workers. They don’t need a single layoff to offset the shutdown. It’s their Project 2025 playbook.

"A future president, even dumber than you, will allow Qatar, the country that harbored Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the architect of the plane attacks in NY, PA, and DC today, and whose royal family will help him escape capture by the US, to build a military base on US soil to train Qataris to fly jets."

Little man Johnson does not need ONE democratic vote to pass a standalone bill to pay our military.

These are disgusting, despicable, human beings.

There are major political fears about deploying troops to the “Dirty South.” Memphis has been the only real concern so far. Federal intervention would spark intense backlash—reviving tensions over states’ rights from Reconstruction and the Civil Rights era.

IOW, they don’t want any of any of this.

🚨 Do ICE have MRE provisions? Oh, no. That’s a damn shame. All that income and no place to buy a meal. Hey, I know what they can eat… 1/2

I just watched the video of the Portland Cop threatening to arrest an ICE agent if they drive their truck through a crowd. Now I see this where the General of the Oregon National Guard says if they get called up they will protect the protesters. People are fed up.
