Talk like that puts the Labour party in a very difficult position: try and appeal to Reform UK Ltd followers, or appeal to the people who agree with what Zack and the Greens have to say. It can't do both. They're incompatible. I hope they get the same exposure now, but I suspect they won't.

Agreed, but we first need to acknowledge the mistake before we can even think about trying to fix it. I believe the government knows it was a terrible idea, but are afraid to admit it - particularly with the right wing being as vocal as they are currently.

Most of these cost increases can probably be attributed to contracts handed out to their chums. Someone is making a nice fat profit somewhere.

The media needs to stop giving him a platform. He can say anything he likes, his followers lap it up and argue his nonsense as fact. Everyone scrambles to try and prove him wrong, and a few days later, he's at it again.
He spreads fear and terror.

I'm hoping that it can be nipped in the bud here in the UK now that a certain far right party has control of certain local governments. When they mess up on a local level AND IT IS REPORTED IN MAINSTREAM MEDIA, I think the country can dodge this bullet.
