Since Trump is the all-time “waste, fraud, and abuse” champ, we should retire the phrase. If we really want to get rid of waste, fraud, and abuse we should get rid of the MAGA regime—and before that, boot out the do-nothing MAGA congressional majorities

Five days ago, an ICE agent shoved a woman asking questions about the detention of her husband.

Today they attacked two journalists.

We cannot accept or normalize what has now become routine violence at 26 Federal Plaza. It has no place in our city.

I am horrified by the disgusting threat to @RepJayapal’s life. Our country cannot allow such reckless threats of political violence to be normalized. This is shameful behavior that is being forcefully rejected and the perpetrator must be held accountable.

Jarvis: I hate to say this to my friends here at CNN, mass media is dying, so they're taking the last of these vestiges of institutions that matter and they're trying to turn them into propaganda organs under threat from the head of the FCC

Take the pledge (easy to do since they have nothing worth watching) .. never, ever watch ABC or CBS. These companies have no value if very few people watch. Do not watch those who enable totalitarianism.

There's no excuse for the Vice President of the United States to use a heinous killing as an occasion to baselessly frame political opponents as accomplices to murder while threatening to use the power of the government to attack them.

This dangerous rhetoric will only fan the flames.

Pritzker: "When did we become a country where it's ok for the US president to insist on national television that a state should call him to beg for anything? Especially something we don't want. Have we truly lost all sense of sanity in this nation that we treat this as normal?"

I know, I know, but: The president of the US saying, literally, "we're going in" in reference to sending the military to an American city for no reason beyond terrorizing the local population should be the most immediately impeachable shit imaginable

That Pritzker press conference was... surreal, and I think marks a significant moment of escalation in the constitutional omni-crisis. This was the governor of a state saying plainly the Union itself is being torn apart and his state is being militarily invaded by an authoritarian regime.
