There's no strategic reason to take Greenland, and Americans agree.

It is just another vanity project for Trump—and a distraction from the issues that our government should actually be working on. Shameful.
75% of Americans oppose US attempting to take control of Greenland, CNN poll finds | CNN Politics
Three-quarters of Americans say they oppose the US attempting to take control of Greenland, according to a new CNN poll conducted by SSRS, indicating that President Donald Trump’s push to expand Ameri...

Trump said he would drain the swamp, turns out—to little surprise—he’s done the opposite. His highest-ranking officials are using their power to enrich their own families, and the latest example is playing out on our public lands.

Today marks one year of Trump's chaos, cruelty, & corruption.

It has been a devastating year across the country, but the one thing that has given me hope is YOU. Oregonians staying loud and looking out for their neighbors has been the highlight—and we won't let up now.

Together we will overcome.

$125 million for a re-brand? Behold the “government efficiency” Trump promised.
'Department of War' rebranding could cost as much as $125M, hundreds of millions more if it becomes legal name: CBO
The Congressional Budget Office estimates it will cost taxpayers anywhere from $10 million to $125 million to rebrand the Defense Department as the "Department of War."

Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dedicated his life fighting for equity and justice. He taught us that even in the face of intimidation and discrimination, we must never stop working towards a better future – a lesson that feels especially relevant today.

Today, we honor and celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a leader who didn’t just ask us to dream of a just world, but to do the work to build it through peaceful, nonviolent protest and systemic change.

Trump's immigration machine has unleashed militarized federal agents into our communities who act without fear of being accountable to the law. Oregonians are demanding accountability.

Renee Nicole Good should be alive.

I send my love to her family and urge everyone to read the statement Renee's family released to learn more about the precious life we lost.

24 hours after Trump announced he would gut nearly $2 billion from mental health and addiction programs, he reversed course...BECAUSE OF YOU.

You spoke out and stopped a decision that would have devastated communities already ravaged by the addiction crisis. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/14/h...

I’m helping introduce the Make Housing Affordable Again and Defend Democracy Act with @gomez.house.gov to meet two problems with a solution.

- Trump has a $175 billion anti-immigrant slush fund he is using to wreak havoc on our communities.
- Housing is out of reach for too many.

When our children and grandchildren ask what we did to protect our neighbors from the terror unleashed on our communities, I want to be able to say, "Every single thing we could."

That is why today we formally filed articles of impeachment against Kristi Noem.

Families will suffer, loved ones will overdose, and people will die — because Trump would rather use this money to cut billionaires’ taxes and terrorize our communities.

I’ve seen firsthand the significant health impacts of air pollution. To completely ignore what it does to our bodies is both reckless and misguided. As the only lung doctor in Congress, I will fight vigorously to reverse this move. Breathing clean air should be a right, not a privilege.

More and more Americans are going without health insurance because of skyrocketing costs.

House Democrats did our job and voted to extend the ACA tax credits. It's time for the Senate to do the same.

While Americans are struggling to afford necessities like food and healthcare, what are Republicans focused on?

Showerheads.

That’s right, today we voted on a bill that allows showerheads to be less efficient. This is absurd.

Trump is threatening the Fed Chair because Powell refuses to do his political bidding.

Trump knows he’s done absolutely nothing to lower costs. So he’s trying to distract from his incompetence by uprooting the security and stability of our economy.

This illegitimate abuse of power cannot stand.

Last week, the ACA premium tax credits 3-year extension passed the House. This is a BIG win, but now is not the time to take our foot off the gas. The Senate must vote on the extension to make healthcare more affordable for all Americans.
