Just saw Robert Eggers' NOSFERATU & I must say - Lily-Rose Depp's performance was so breathtaking that it really put the rest of the cast & even the story to shame. The movie was basically a duet between Depp & Eggers' vision. Everything else was beside the point (even Skarsgård's Orlock).

It didn't help that Biden himself was incapable of using the bully pulpit by the end. He should have dropped out by 2022, after the midterms, and let the Dems have a proper primary. Sounds like these ICE guys are not only ill-trained and temperamentally unfit for the job, but some intrepid reporter should see if illegal drug use (like using some kind of amphetamines or steroids) is being urged on them to keep them hopped up and aggressive.

Yeah, I think we hope that choosing to do evil is a torturous decision for most people because it would be so disheartening if it was easy, but most people really are experts at compartmentalizing & living w/ cognitive dissonance. Evil is more often banal than spectacular or anguish-filled.

I love Tim Curry; he deserves all the love that comes his way as an actor. He's rightfully famous for Rocky Horror & Clue. But is there any other actor who is as famous & beloved as he is w/ as spotty a movie filmography? (Not counting his stage career which most movie watchers aren't aware of.)
