Facebook suspends popular Chicago ICE-sightings group at Trump administration’s request
The group, "ICE Sighting-Chicagoland," has been increasingly used in the last five weeks of President Donald Trump’s intense deportation campaign to warn neighbors that federal agents are nearby.

The League of Women Voters opposes midcycle redistricting because redistricting should only happen every 10 years, based on the population & should not create a partisan advantage.

Why are Kansas legislative leaders trying to get signatures to force a special session?
They want to redraw KS voting maps to gerrymander U.S. Rep. Davids out of office. She is the lone Democrat in KS congressional delegation, in a state less than 50% Republican.

A healthy democracy means every community has an equal voice. That doesn’t happen when politicians redraw maps in the middle of the decade to protect their own power.

Women got the right to vote 105-years ago today - and we're keeping it! 19th Amendment 4ever, baby! We won't let them take it away. #Vote #Wichita #Kansas #LeagueOfWomenVoters

Taking photos and video of law enforcement officers performing their duties in public is our constitutional right.

This includes police, FBI, National Guard troops, ICE agents, and other government officials.

It's been 177 years since the first women's rights convention, and we're still fighting to protect the vote for all Americans.

It's been a long fight, but we won't stop.
109 new Americans! We registered new voters after the naturalization ceremony in Wichita. Many happy tears & small American flags waved. Our favorite quote of the day from one new citizen as he wrote the date on his voter application form, "I will never forget this happy date!" ❤️Welcome, citizens!
