Today, the Defense Department confiscated the badges of the Pentagon reporters from virtually every major media organization in America. It did this because reporters would not sign onto a new media policy over its implicit threat of criminalizing national security reporting and exposing those who sign it to potential prosecution.
The Pentagon Press Association's members are still committed to reporting on the U.S. military. But make no mistake, today, Oct. 15, 2025 is a dark day for press freedom that raises concerns about a weakening U.S. commitment to transparency in governance, to public accountability at the Pentagon and to free speech for all.

All our dogs are/have been rescues. We've had as many as 4 at once. Currently, just one. His 2 pals were old & both died within 6 wk of each other. So sad. Then he ran into a bush & poked a hole in his eye. $2000 to fix that & he's still workin' on it. When the e-cone comes off we'll get him a pal.

Our president is saying it's OK to violate the law as long as you're doing something he likes. For his part, that includes ordering the deaths of "drug dealers," but supplying no evidence that they actually were that.

I was a Fed for 20 yrs. I had to abide by the Hatch Act, which forbids most Feds from taking a political stance on the job.

Kristi Noem is clearly violating the Hatch Act, & should be punished. But, because Trump is president, she won't be. This is flagrantly unethical. www.cnn.com/2025/10/14/u...
