I make sure she knows she is loved and that she is beautiful. I do my best to listen to her. And make sure she is HEARD. How she feels matters to me. She is also allowed to call me out on my bs. Respectfully of course. But yes. Cuz I ain't always right.

They wanted to tell me how to parent. Initially anyway. I told them, trust what YOU raised. I got this. 😉

13. How did your relationship with your parents change after you became a parent?

Loving someone more than I love myself. It also showed me why my Mama did the things she did for me. It's a love I can't explain. (this from a person who never planned to have kids.)

I have a teenager ... I worry A LOT. Not because she's a bad kid. But cuz of the madness in the world. It's wild in these streets.

We kinda bump heads over church and religion. But other than that, everything my parents told me aged VERY WELL. Especially my Mama. Chick has a 98% right on rate. 😂😂

Hanging out with my kid. I not only love my kid. I like her. She's a cool person to be around. She is the ultimate travel buddy. We been in these streets since she was 3. Love my baby girl!! ✊🏾🖤💪🏾
