important thing is that they were enjoying the creagive process and taking pride in their menus. Next time, they have to use the menu for their mock restaurants, so they have to speak and use the dialogue I'd created as template.

My students used Chatgeepeetee to write food descriptions on their menus (group project).
Look, I just let them do it. But I also explain that in this situation it was fine, but if they had to write an essay or opinion, they shouldn't rely on Ay Eye to help them with everhthing.

I think nowadays people have to dial the area code too in South Africa. It never used to be like that. So it's 10 numbers in total now.

I keep forgetting my grandpa has already passed away. I wanted to call him now and talk about how I used to make lots of calls from the landline and get scolded for it. Gahd, I miss that man.

Okay. I figured out why my floor wax remover didn't work. I was supposed to leave it for about 30 min until the wax had loosened up.

Did people really memorize phone numbers before cell phones, or is that just a movie thing?

I was watching some old shows from the 90s and noticed people would just dial numbers from memory - like they'd call their friends or family without looking anything up.
Made me wonder if that was actually normal back then? Did people genuinely have all their important numbers memorized, or did most folks keep a little address book or written list nearby?

It took me hours to clean my fkoor yesterday. I had to scrub off the wax, then clean, and then add a new layer of wax. But after I was done, the floor was rough in soke spots because the old was wasn't removed properly. And now it feel weird under my feet and I hate it! 😭
