She’s not technically eating it she’s storing it in her cheek pouches!

It breaks my heart that they are marketed as toys. I’m glad we could give her love at the end of her life at least
wolfskulljack.bsky.social
Thank you, it was about 2 years ago now but still very sad to loose her.

The name was chosen by someone on Twitter! We wanted a solid old lady name!

One of our past hamsters, Betty White. She was abandoned by a bin and left to die before a member of the public spotted her and brought her into our local animal shelter. We only had 3 months with her but she was ever so sweet and the most food motivated hamster I’ve ever had!

I’m so sorry for your loss xx

Thank you Michelle for this beautiful poster and for your work! It looks insane in the frame on the wall. @wolfskulljack.bsky.social

It’s my own narrative and characters! They feature in my work regularly and have done for years but I’ve not written what their story is exactly!

Lilith’s calls for her brother Orion to aid her. There are men in the wood.

Original art done in 2023
My work, digital. A women with a single antler floats in the air whilst summoning a gigantic wolf god with the Orion constellation in his forehead

The intention is never to breed but to offer a wolf a safe and quiet environment for the rest of their life. Not all of the wolves are neutered but they aren’t ever put in a position where breeding is possible

We don’t have wild wolves here in the UK and the wolves at the sanctuary are hand ins from zoos, parks and the pet industry. All of the wolves here were hand raised in captivity but few of them are fully socialised as they are such sensitive animals.Bosch was a pet but he is still uneasy around men
wolfskulljack.bsky.social
Just getting to see them from a distance is incredible! I’m so thankful I have the experience with them that I do have
wolfskulljack.bsky.social
I mostly handle online admin and have only ever done one small tour on the grounds! I don’t handle the wolves and only ever have interaction with full supervision and with the fully socialised wolf

Wolves are so vocal and very rarely hurt their Pack Mates. Bosch is a bit of a git though

Anja comes over to see if I have any food and gets interrupted by Bosch much to her annoyance. Taken on my last visit to see Caroline (the lead volunteer) and Tony (the owner). I’ve been a volunteer at Wolf Watch UK for around 7 years

I mean…whatever makes you happy right?

Yeah that was a very stupid decision on behalf of their management! They should have stood behind their staff.

I blasted Tsushima and the DLC in a month because I was so eager for Yotei 😂
wolfskulljack.bsky.social
I had a really good time with Tsushima overall and the characters were all so well written. I found myself really caring and getting invested in their story. But there really is so much death and brutality that I had to take small breaks when playing it! The DLC felt oddly lighter though!
wolfskulljack.bsky.social
I’m also allowing myself to get obsessed with Yotei and indulge in this fixation for a while. I know I work hard and this kind of intense joy from a video game doesn’t come around that often for me. The last time got this obsessive with a game was Tears of the Kingdom
wolfskulljack.bsky.social
I’m also finding it less depressing than Ghost of Tsushima, which for a while was very much ‘please help my family, oh they’re all dead and I’m dead too’ with every NPC you helped. Even though Yotei is still dark in places, it’s not as brutal. It feels a bit more…whimsical?? Maybe?
wolfskulljack.bsky.social
I’m about 40 hours in playing this game and I’m having such a good time! The combat is very challenging and I’m getting my arse kicked but when it goes well it’s very satisfying! I’m also getting mad distracted by things in the open world, which is stunning btw. You can still pet the foxes!!

Fan art- When I saw that @erikaishii.bsky.social was in Ghost of Yotei and there were WOLVES IN IT, I knew I had to jump onboard this franchise. I started playing Ghost of Tsushima a month ago and have just competed the whole thing including the DLC. This weekend I start Yotei!!

Yep, I work for Magic the Gathering fairly regularly!

Yes! I gave the band 3 sketches to choose from and they went with all 3 and used them for various things!
