There’s something special about offering your heart and devotion to an animal in our care when we know full well that there will eventually be heartbreak when they go. The pain of their absence at the end of their life is only evident because of how special they are. It was worth it just to know you

I’m meeting up with the housemates I had when I was 20 and we’ve not hung out together since we graduated and I’m nervous! Really happy to see them of course but I absolutely reel about some of my behaviour when I was in my 20’s. I was a little shit

One of our past hamsters, Betty White. She was abandoned by a bin and left to die before a member of the public spotted her and brought her into our local animal shelter. We only had 3 months with her but she was ever so sweet and the most food motivated hamster I’ve ever had!

I’ve almost finished Horizon Forbidden West DLC and will need another game to play after that. What has a similar vibe? The games I’ve really gotten on well since Rob bought me a PS5 have been Ghost of Tsushima/Yotei (although the combat had me SWEATING), and both the Horizon games

Tanuki was adopted from Bright Horizon Hamster rescue last December and had such a rough start in life. After some dedicated one on one time she came around fairly quickly and learned that human hands were not going to harm her with the help of her favourite treat, dried fig! She was such a good ham

She’s gone. Found our sweet girl asleep in her nest this morning. She will be put to rest under our Apple tree.
Our girl Tanuki is in her final days I think. She had a vets visit a month or so ago with a lump but in all honesty I think it’s just her time to go of old age. My heart is so sad and it never gets easier loosing these little babies but I am confident I’ve given her the best life I could give.
