Božena Helásková from Prague, who travelled on her small ČZ through Baltic countries and Poland to Liinahamari, crossing the Arctic Circle. She covered 7500km in 25 days (300km per day). She also toured Alps. ČZ motorcycle company used her as a brand ambassador in their advertisement in 1937-1939.
After the Second World War, Ilse Thouret and her two daughters competed in scooter racing events as the Thouret Trio, first for NSU, later with Vespa.
Ilse Thouret, who rose to become Germany's best female motorcycle racer in the 1930s. She collected over 100 trophies, medals, and awards during her career. After her first ride on a 750cc Mabeco in 1927, she became a factory rider for Puch in 1933.

'Sadie Grimm Commemorative Picnic Shelter' has opened at the site of the former Empress Hotel in Winnipeg Beach where she completed her ride in 1914.
Sadie Grimm: First Canadian Woman Motorcycle Medalist. In 1913/14, the Manitoba Motorcycle Club offered a medal to the first motorcyclist to make the trip from Winnipeg to Winnipeg Beach. There had been numerous failed attempts by other riders prior to Grimm's accomplishment on June 14, 1914.
