Just saw The Long Walk and the parallels with temptation, greed, work, war, and the daily grind make my soul hurt. Really well done but it's a rough watch.

Incorrigible! We have an inflatable giant dragon (Dargon) and his son Jr., because they store nicely, then we switch to a giant owl for Thanksgiving, then to a Christmas dragon named Minty for the holidays. All of them politely squish down into a bin. But not this big boy.!

Yes! The crowd's reactions really made it fun! I forgot Wes Craven made this. Watching it again, it's entertaining to see how he incorporated music into the movie. It also plays with musical cues (using violins, etc. to make it seem like something horrible will happen but doesn't). We had a blast!

Saw a preview of our high school's production of Carrie & holy CATS these kids are talented. Then watched the original Scream in the theater with my daughter. Such a 90s movie (giant cell phones, death from a heavy TV smashing their head, toxic mysogyny, ya know, the usual). Still entertaining tho!

#DnD adventure I'm cooking up is, inspired by the following: The Crucible > Pumpkinhead > Voynich Manuscript > Blaze > Evil Dead. Sure. I'm sure it will all make sense to the PCs (or it won't, and we'll do it anywyay!). Maps and handouts are ready, monsters statted, gotta pick minis next...
