Corset maker, swordswoman and strange old cat lady in training

Many of you will know me from other platforms, but for those who don’t, I’m a corset maker, swordswoman and instructor in historical martial arts, specialising in Suffrajitsu, cat servant and once upon a time was a forensic scientist.
This Saturda! The Leeds Festival of Gothica Alternative market! Find me in zone 1
The first image is a corset I made in 2017, the second is a rip off of my design being sold by Corset story
It’s October, time for all the gothy stuff!
Batty pumpki collar
Nearly October and that’s always means two of my favourite events fast approaching! I’ve loads of shiny new stock fresh off the sewing machine, so not come along and see!
The last few days were set aside to do my tax return. As you can see, it’s been going really well and I’ve not got distracted in the slightest…
Anyway, this is new stock for my upcoming markets (this won’t be going online as at the moment I’m not quite sure how I’d manage to post it!)
Just added a couple of ex shoot one of a kind pieces to Etsy
With a couple of trading events in the run up to Halloween, of course I couldn’t resist making some more goth stock! Photo on the left without, and right with flash.
It’s Friday, let’s start the weekend with this gorgeous photo of the stunning Jake Dupree by the amazing Neal Rylatt
I’ve got horribly behind with adding things to Etsy, I’ll try to do an update over the weekend and add all these and more
A couple of slightly more over the top collars for my upcoming events
My next trading event is in just over a month!
The Dark Arts Market is back at the Vat and Fiddle, it’s a short walk from the station, the station car park is fairly inexpensive if you’re coming from further afield, and it an accessible, dog friendly venue!
I realised I never shared this here

With the loss of European sales due to GPSR, and the removal of the De Minimis by Trump (this means sales to the states will face customs charges), I’m concentrating more on trading in person.

Infest Manchester Saturday 16/8
Dark Arts Nottingham 11,12/10
Alternative Artisans Birmingham 23/11
Sorry I’ve been a bit quiet on here, I’ve been working on lots of orders I can’t share yet, but I can share this one which was collected yesterday.
Last weekend my friend Sophie reminded me of the film Kingdom of heaven, which in turn reminded me of some of the costumes of Sibylla, which reminded me of an offcut of sari fabric that was left over from another job, which meant I then had to make this hood.
Just a little over 3 weeks till Fantasy forest festival
I’ve two orders left to complete and one wedding dress for the week after, all of which should (hopefully) be finished next week, meaning I might actually finish the outfit for myself that never got finished for last year!
Today I put the finishing touches on two of the orders for Fantasy Forest Festival but I won’t share those with you till after the event, so here’s a stunning image of and by Domina Ex Mortis wearing a wisteria set I made for a catwalk show a few years ago, I really should sell this one!
One more from the stash fabric finished over the weekend!
Still making stock between orders to try to use up some of my (quite frankly ridiculously excessive) fabric stash!

I’ve just sent this to them, yep, it’s the display group of my friend @drkatevigurs.bsky.social
Which festival? I’ve a feeling I know them
Beth’s English flower meadow wedding dress. The skirt and veil have hundreds of hand sewn flowers, the under layer of the skirt an ombré dyed hem, and of course what meadow would be complete without some bees and ladybirds, and I couldn’t resist adding a lucky four leaf clover to the veil!
