It's really easy to tell what Xel'a his thinking. He has no poker-face, and his ears and tail are like neon signs. His ears droop when he's sad and perk when he's happy. They flatten and his tail lashes when he's angry.

Yes, it definitely does. The base of his tail is very sensitive, so massaging (or vibrating) the area sends waves of pleasure over him. He also loves it when it's brushed, so frequently his owners will incorporate that into aftercare.
