I’m right there with you on the Meta front. I think the federated activityPub sites will be viable for longer than BlueSky, frankly, just because of how it’s organized, and who is funding it.

Still thinking about last Saturday, driving on the Oregon Coast, south of Bandon where I took the photo that inspired this painting! I don’t think I could replicate that lighting if I tried, it was one in a million conditions. 😍

Recently subscribed to @mcsweeneys.net hard copy quarterly and holy smokes the quality is astoundingly good. That hardback cover is embroidered! The interior layout and design is impeccable! Made me a bit teary, tbh…
