Only had a few short hours on St Agnes this afternoon, so it’s a good thing everything showed well straight away! Mourning Dove, Buff-bellied Pipit, Spotted Sandpiper, Hoopoe and Lapland Bunting plus a Great Shearwater from the Scillonian #ukbirding

Saved some of my best images from three days at Dunwich Heath to last, although there are more, I will not put anymore up for a while after these. I cant think I have had better days with such a wonderful bird like this rare Turkestan's Shrike. This is one stunning bird to see and photograph😊

An interesting day at Marshside, Merseyside, today. A Ross's Goose picked up flying in with Pinkfeet was an exciting moment, regardless of its provenance. A juv Hobby was watched catching Odonata over the marsh and a juv Garganey was elusive on the junction pool @birdguides.bsky.social #ukbirding

Yellow-browed Bunting trapped, ringed and released at the Swannery. It's flown to the hedge which runs alongside the Swannery grounds and the bird may be viewable from the permissive path heading west from Grove Lane.
