Now that I've described it, I kinda wish the two components were one in the same so I could daisy chain them into each other 😅

My system revolves around two components called "Input" and "Endpoint". Input holds a bool and emits a signal when it changes using a setter. Endpoint subscribes to Input signals and decides its own state given the state of its subscribed Inputs. I only calculate state on value changes.

I'm working on an turn-based isometric rpg called pearlessential! Recently, I was playing around with incorporating out of battle status effects.

I've set up most of my negative status effects to persist outside of battle. Like the poisoned status in Pokemon does. I'm also tweaking some of my weather conditions so that they can passively apply negative status effects.

It means the effect is produced without modifying alpha. The mesh looks see through because it applies the image behind it as a texture (with some modifications to look glass like)
