Absolum, a beat-em-up roguelite.
Four characters and the one I like the least (much as I don't actually hate 'em, just don't mesh with the style much) is the one I've beat the (non-true) final boss with.
I do recommend the game though, it's really good

Suddenly remembering one flash RPG game where the shopkeeper hated you so much he made you pay money just to browse. Like even when he said you were the city's only hope all he did was lower the fee and never drop it.
I wonder how many others considered that but dropped it for very obvious reasons
