if you're thinking about killing yourself i highly recommend calling a suicide hotline. i think a lot of us don't try the usual recommendations when feeling this low because we KNOW nothing will make us feel better and the thing is, calling the hotline WON'T make you feel better. (1/2)

Just one example of many: the occupation of DC would’ve been less likely—or at least more difficult—if any of the preceding, Democratic presidents had taken statehood seriously. That doesn’t erase or absolve what’s happening now. It’s just a fact.
