I have the most sudden and overwhelming urge to plan out a Doom mood featuring Hardwire as the playable character.

You'd think I'd want Zaf for a role like that, but no. Zaf is more Ultrakill-style gameplay, in my head.

Hardwire would totally fit in a Doom mod.

Yes, actually, as well as in X8. It's also what happened to half the guys in X5 - the other half were absolutely smoking that dark evil pack and just wanted to watch the world fall to chaos.

But really though, I do genuinely think that a lot of the Reploids were genuinely misunderstood, or were being grossly manipulated by Sigma into thinking they were doing something noble.

I was feeling nostalgic, so I drew some old friends from a long time gone.

Shame they all got destroyed by some crazed enforcer synth dressed in blue yelling something like "Sounds like Maverick Talk to me" when all they wanted was some basic rights.

Sheesh.

Then we have the higher echelons of synthetics - partially or even fully sentient units that operate on personal levels or utilize their enhanced cognitive capabilities for business acumen or even tactical analysis for combat operations.

There is an exceptionally high degree of applications.

And those ones usually answer to an organic administrator, as well.

Then we have a larger range of applications of domestic and private sector models that provide a number of end-user facing jobs across the sol system, should a position not be filled by an organic already.

There’s variety of synthetics in a myriad of positions. A lot of the more basic synths barely even have synthetic skin, let alone a face that can emote. Basic labor units that do construction and other such jobs are generally administrated by other synthetics with a slightly higher intelligence chip

This has to be one of the more brooding shop songs I've ever heard. Like damn, bro, where you selling stuff? Middle of war-torn country?

Still though, there's a distant sense of nostalgia that I can feel from the song too. Familiar, yet still unknown.
