After bisque is sanded and rinsed it gets a day to dry and then the bottoms get waxed.

So anyway, I'm going to go work on the first step on my glazing process. I'm going to throw my faith at the universe that all will be well, people will find joy in my ceramic work, and I'll be able to heal, stay self-employed, and support myself, my teen, and our three dogs and three cats.

I know intellectually that I am deeply loved and valued just for being me, but that upbringing where worth is tied to productivity is a helluva dogma to get over. I am sick unto death of worrying about making money. We all know that is not really what this one precious life is about. 3/?

for anyone else and keep anything looking like a 40 hour work week. I'm grateful for my studio practice, I can work when I can work, and no one is giving me the side eye, except myself.
I am attempting to make reasonable goals, but that stupid American upbringing keeps ringing in my ears. . . 2/?

I have been pondering lately if I should attempt to qualify as disabled. My multiple medical issues are all mostly invisible until recently when getting out of bed has become excruciating. I have been attempting to get a J O B for over a year, but now I wonder how I could manage to work 1/?

Finishing the edges. I’m happily making so much work. I’m expecting at least 3 glaze loads out of this one bisque. And I have high hopes that I will be able to run that 1st bisque in a week! Just waiting on ventilation.
