The fact that my recent thread is going to make some activists upset because it goes against their idea of good and evil presenting in a specific way makes me mad. Being an activist also means acknowledging uncomfortable truths. If I can do that with Zionism y’all can do it with antisemitism too.

Again, this is NOT A JUSTIFICATION. I AM NOT A ZIONIST (the fact that I even need to yell this bothers me). However, don’t spew antisemitic rhetoric and dumb down the multi-faceted roots of this situation by doing the work to assimilate Jews into whiteness FOR the Nazis. That’s what they want.

Global historic and present antisemitism are a factor in why today’s genocide is happening. I am not saying it is a justification AT ALL, but the truth is that post WW2, people did not want to take in Jewish refugees due to prejudice. The world failed to come together meaningfully to protect us.
