If you're looking for a good read, check out "Death of the Author" by Nnedi Okorafor @nnedi.bsky.social — it's africanfuturism and contemporary literary fiction all rolled into a compulsively readable story. I devoured it in 3 days, but I think it's going to stay with me for a while.

#WritingCommunity I'm editing my book, which I hope to have traditionally published. BUT, it ends on a cliffhanger. The FMC gets the ending that she wanted, but the MMC doesn't. How can I pitch this as a standalone with the possibility of a series?

Why aren't anime intros no longer dubbed? I still remember singing along to Pokémon (original + Johto) and Dragon Ball Z. With the new shows, I've mastered singing in Japanese, although very, very, very badly.
