idk how I still struggle with understanding that people don't care about having Correct Information and it annoys them when I try to correct their misinformation

I made a new friend a while ago and I was happy because making friends is really hard for me!
BUT, as typical for me they just used me to trauma dump and get validation until they got tired of me because I said one thing they didn't like!!!
