That is a poor take on what actually happened. He got the slightest of touches on the ball, which did not clear the ball, AFTER going through his opponent’s knee. That is a foul and a penalty, wrongly denied for the second time this season.

This is last season’s “delaying a restart” when it comes to Arsenal. No other team will suffer these calls this season. Certainly not twice in rapid succession.

It’s objectively fucking hilarious how little contact with the ball a defender makes against an Arsenal player to negate an obvious foul.

If the tackle you make requires that you take the man out, it’s a foul. Especially if you don’t clear the ball while taking out the man.
