Same deal for me. It was my first metroidvania and I never ended up finishing it. But I've beaten a few others at this point, and have it in the back of my head to revisit it. Maybe didn't help that I was using keyboard controls.

Starting on another big picture ohoho

Winnow's third challenge in #hetherev Here the creature and Aries, belonging to @theshiaxartist.bsky.social, have paused their journey to help a friendly fox family pick some oddly colored apples.

Winnow, a giraffe-sized vantablack creature, stands in the center of a forest scene, as two smaller copies of itself roam around the upper tree branches picking blue apples. One hands a bucket of fruit down to Aries, who is standing on Winnow's hindquarters as two young fox children climb on him. On the ground below, a third mini-Winnow(Minnow) is offering a bucket of apples the mother fox and her baby.
