it will never not annoy me that logitech didn't bother to let you save any of the settings to the mouse itself because having the software running causes breakage in some apps because they enforce emulation of a Magic Mouse

I was going to be a bit more celebratory today with getting the last video of the year finished and stuff, then it got dropped on me pretty hard this morning that over the weekend we lost an icon in the world of tech reporting.

fwiw: if anyones running their own PDS and use caddy as a reverse proxy: you should avoid putting this in your caddy file to ensure you are compliant with all local laws

honestly for once im with mozilla on this one.
if youre going to build an API to TF the user, why limit it only to cats? i think there's an about:config flag to enable a `-moz-user-tf: fox;` property which works pretty nicely

yeah it's great, and it does the check when the app starts, so if you just turn a VPN, restart the app, turn it off, ???, profit
there's a uBlock rule which can bypass it, and I configured my PDS to redirect requests to that URL to always respond as age verified, but they either changed or patched

- given reminded me of the recreating datamoshing & melting GPU effect for gangstalk videos
- it's just messing around with near/far planes with no clear on the render texture so it's not anything fancy (you could probably do a lot more involved FX, even with the lack of custom shaders)

and honestly i don't know how you do it. you are many orders of magnitude of a more patient & dedicated person than i am.
and it's probably not great, for you or the project to have one person with that level of importance to the project, what you can do about that i'm not sure

but you have been working for way too long on a project that from the outside looks extremely challenging. i'm not going to say that someone needs to take your github & discord accounts away until morale improves but, as much as it might seem like it sometimes, we won't die without resonite updates

i don't think Resonite would be anything close to what it is, or even exist at all, without you. you've done a massive amount for the community than what would ever be expected from one person.
