This!
Dems backed Trump into a corner where he’s advocating for starving Americans and hemorrhaging support. If they vote to let him off the hook in exchange for nothing it’s a cataclysmic failure. I know people are in pain but insulating Republicans from political consequences is not the answer.

@schumer.senate.gov Don’t do it. Not without SNAP, Obamacare, a statement of GOP apology, and some begging from Trump on tv.

Well, I’ve reached out to both of my Senators.

I do not feel any better.

Somebody help me.
I’m thinking of creating a Twitter account to let my elected officials know how little I think of them.

My two cents: we are seeing talk about reopening the government now because SNAP losses will start to impact Walmart’s and ConAgra’s bottom line.

I’m beginning to feel like they want us broke, hungry, and in the streets so they can justify more generalized violence and take full control.

Family of mine normally get SNAP today. No SNAP has been issued and none is pending, according to the phone prompts.

I disagree with Miller about rowing the boat. Sometimes you have to accept that the other guy rowing is an idiot and ignore him until you are back on land.

At this point Senate Dems should refuse any further vote until the House seats Rep. Grijalva. And they should say Epstein every chance they get. Make Johnson fold by being loud.

I’d like to put together an SNL style skit channel on YouTube featuring a cast of “right-wing agitators” doing a podcast called American Tall Evan. The “American Tall” podcast would draw contrasts between life in the US and elsewhere “from a modern right perspective.”

I just want to point out that if millions of protestors are in the streets the smart politician joins them. The dumb ones name call and demonize.
Fetterman has nothing to say when Mike Johnson & House leadership calls millions of Democrats protesting at No Kings communists, Hamas supporters & antifa who hate America, but if you suggest Trump might be ruling like an autocrat he is quick to run back on Fox to condemn it.

When I was a kid my heroes were Jesus, Robin Hood, and Superman. As a teen I leaned more towards Batman, Punisher (yeah, I know), and guys like John Dillinger. Adult me sees heroism as fleeting and circumstantial.
I feel like there is an article or a paper in this.
