You sort of get little glimpses into his life and history, just enough that you remember he’s a real person who’s lived a life, but it’s not about him so we don’t go into it
my favorite thing about the benoit blanc movies is that they aren't really about benoit blanc. he is not grappling with demons from his past. we are not getting flashbacks to the husband whose murder he never solved. he just shows up and does his job like mary poppins for homicides

There's a guy on Twitter who posted about Rob Reiner's perfect run of films and included North. Every time someone calls out North, he says "Not the time, 2 people are dead." It's making me laugh until I cry, and I'm confident Rob Reiner would have found it hilarious.

I really feel like this is one of those things they should just not bring up on broadcast too much. Just mention active aerodynamics, people who are interested will look it up, the rest will file it next to all the other nerdy technical stuff they don’t care about and carry on enjoying the racing

Just been on the phone for an hour and a half because the energy company for my last flat randomly decided I owed them nearly £5000, so that was a fun start to the week sorting that out

One thing to remember about the Hamilton 2016 strategy is that it didn’t work
Anyway, McLaren won both championships while spending the entire season relying on using tyre deltas to fight undercuts almost as a rule, so expect more of that next year I guess.

You’d normally be seeing McLaren team members with Norris World Champion shirts by now I wonder if printing and bringing them along, knowing you’d have to bring some for if Piastri won and then quietly dumping those was against papaya rules

I think *ultimately* the right decision to let Norris off but the Tsunoda penalty, while I think technically possible, feels like “ok well we have to justify the other decision”
