According to Taiwo Oyedele, Chairman of the Presidential Fiscal Policy and Tax Reform Committee, individuals earning up to N100,000 per month will not pay personal income tax next year under Nigeria's new tax reforms. Oyedele said the reforms are designed to reduce the tax burden on low-income people while promoting fairness, compliance and broader economic growth. He explained that even with the minimum wage benchmark of N70,000, the tax payable by workers under the new tax law would drop significantly.

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu says the 140 million gallons per day Adiyan Water Project in Lagos will be completed next year, as part of his administration’s commitment to increase access to clean and reliable potable water for residents.
