Happy Friday!! Welcome to the VERY LAST Friday New Release Post!!!...of the year. Yes, after this week there isn't enough new releases to make it worth doing a post. But fret not, we will be back on January 2nd for What to Expect in 2026 and then the regular Friday New Release posts will start back on January 9th!! Let's get back to this week, shall we.

During the early 2000’s, Marcel Jacob came forward and revealed he was suffering from chronic rheumatism and it would limit his live shows. By 2003, he must have felt up to it because the band played several festivals during that Summer and thankfully for us, a lot of those were recorded. 'Live in Stockholm' is the 4th live recording released by the Swedish-American band Talisman.

This week, We are going to talk Harem Scarem. More Specifically, the 2019 release of the Frontiers Records release of the 'The Ultimate Collection' Box Set. The Ultimate Collection is a box set that contains 12 of their studio albums plus a collection of songs from early in their career as well as a disc of unreleased tracks.  And to top it off, the studio albums include all the bonus tracks from those albums as well. 

For My Sunday Song #462, we are talking Day of Fire's massive song "Hole in My Hand" off their 2006 album 'Cut & Move'. The Christian Rock band out of Nashville, Tennessee bring us their second album that was produced by Pete Thornton who had worked with Limp Bizkit. Not quite the same type of music, so an interesting choice, but a good one.

Christmas is almost upon us, the end of the year will be here soon. There are only 2 more New Release Friday's left for the year and this is one of them. We have a handful of releases for you this week and I have the Scorpions live album on order. Can't wait to get that one. Let me know what you want to get this week or what we may have missed.

Jeff Scott Soto has played with some incredible musicians throughout his career, and this album sees some players that are beyond description. Octavision is the brainchild of Armenian guitar virtuoso, Hovak Alaverdyan, who wanted to put together music with Middle Eastern and Armenian folk musical sounds and styles into a heavy metal, progressive rock sound. I would say he achieved his goal with the release of 'Co-Exist'.

November is done and we are now inching towards Christmas. First, it is time for the monthly wrap-up so lets see what 2 Loud 2 Old Music added to the collection this month. This is the November 2025 Wrap-Up and we have a bunch of vinyl and a whole lot of CDs to get through. This month I hit Noble Records & Repo Records as well as ordered from Discogs and Amazon.

For My Sunday Song #461, we are talking Jake E. Lee's Red Dragon Cartel and their song form the debut album, "Shout it Out". The album came out on January 28, 2014 and debuted at #69 on the Billboard 200. While this song was used to promote the album, it did not chart anywhere. For me, it is one of the coolest and best songs on the album.

Happy Friday, we have a few releases for you today, but the bulk is coming from Record Store Day Black Friday. I wouldn't mind the Creed live album, the Billy Idol 12" or the Ratt 12", but not sure I'm going to go wait in line. Take a look and let me know what you want to get out of this bunch.

Last year, Bon Jovi released their 16th Studio album, ‘Forever’. It was an album I wasn’t sure we would ever get. Jon had some serious vocal issues, so bad in fact he needed surgery. Back in 2022, Jon Bon Jovi went under the knife to fix his vocal cord problem that had been well documented by the cruel trolls of the internet.

I had the pleasure of joining Deke to talk about the Motley Crue albums of the 80's and our favorite memories of the band during that time. And along for the ride was the famous TeeBone!! It was a lot of fun as we walked through Too Fast For Love, Shout at the Devil, Theater of Pain, Girls Girls Girls and Dr.

This week on The Collection, we go through the brand new Kiss 'Alive!' 50th Anniversary Super Deluxe Edition CD Box Set. Can't believe it has been 50 years to one of the greatest Live albums of all time (cough, cough). I just received the box set from Fed Ex and figured I would show it to you at the exact time I went through it so we are both surprised or disappointed with what is or is not included.

For My Sunday Song #460, we are going to talk a little about the brand new song 'Like A Woman Can" by Halestorm off their 2025 album 'Everest'. The song is the fourth single and came out the same day as the album, August 8, 2025. The song is one of their boldest tracks yet. The album hasn't done that well which is highly disappointing as it is pretty awesome.

There is one thing I never thought I would say I needed and that was a new 38 Special album in 2025. I didn't think I would need because I thought the band was done doing albums as it has been 21 years since their last studio album back in 2004 with 'Drivetrain'. This is a milestone and thus the name of the album is 'Milestone'.

This week we go through the two newest box sets from David Coverdale's Whitesnake. The first is a box set full of live shows from 2004 to 2015 called 'Access All Areas Live'. We get 6 different shows (sort of) and the normal goodies. The second box set is for the 2011 Whitesnake album 'Forevermore'. This set is 4 CDs and Blu-Ray plus the normal goodies.

For My Sunday Song #459, we are going to discuss the epic White Lion song "Lights and Thunder". The song was the first single off their fourth album 'Mane Attraction' and the song came out in March 1991. It was an unusual song for a single due to its length at over 8 minutes long. By far, their longest song up to this point in time.

I have been doing a Kiss Bootleg Series for years. You get a review every time I add a new one to the collection. Well, after buying 38 Bootleg CDs from John Humphrey’s personal collection, I figured let’s jump right back in and do a whole lot of reviews on the Bootlegs. Oh, if you don’t know who John Humphrey is, you need to know he is a massive Kiss collector.

This week we are going to talk about Bon Jovi's latest album, Forever (Legendary Edition) as well as the original Forever album. The album came out on October 24, 2025 and I figured we would walk through each song, discuss the duet partners and how much we like or dislike each song. This is the band's 16th and 17th Studio albums and honestly, I am so happy they are still putting out new music.

For My Sunday Song #468, we are talking "Do Her Wrong" by the band AtomSmash. The song is off their 2010 album, 'Love Is In The Missile' which was the label debut on Jive Records. "Do Her Wrong" was the lone single from the album and after only 4 months and 25,000 units sold of the album, Jive Records dropped them.

I can't believe it is already November. The year is almost over, but the new releases aren't yet. Stuff is still coming out just in time for Christmas. What on this list will be your Christmas wish list? Honestly, the only thing maybe I'd like to get is the Wings Deluxe set and quite possibly the Adam Ant compilation, but that is probably it.

For My Sunday Song #457, we are talking "Defying Gravity" and no, this is not the Wicked song of the same name. This one is by the band The Veer Union and is off their 2016 album 'Decade' which celebrates the band's 10 years of existence. The song was the first and maybe only single and was released on December 11, 2015 while the album was not released until January 29, 2016.
