Finally hooked up my Kensington track ball to my Mister. Now I can finally find Wally in the japanese only Sega arcade game released because someone at Sega's child really liked Where's Wally. And we are forever grateful for that fact.

New kid friendly games on sale, Dino Dawn Doom! Kind of looks like Jurassic Park on the SNES, but instead of 1st person you get 3rd person indoors. Picture of a guy aiming a shotgun at a raptor.

It's PEGI 3.

That's christmas for the little ones sorted.

Tiny Terry’s Turbo Trip, a PEGI 3 game where a child causes chaos in order to drive a car into space. It’s silly, short, chaotic, and surprisingly heartfelt. Is it kid-friendly? …Depends how early you want to explain extortion to the little one.

Ordered more than a few things from Homebrew Factory in the past but never really delved into their direct manufacturing side. Plenty of homebrew Mega Drive games which could take advantage of this which would be lovely to see in the future, and maybe more with Scorpion Engine still being worked on.
📢Big news from Homebrew Factory!

We know how much you love Nintendo consoles, but for SEGA lovers, Mega Drive / Genesis support is now available in the configurator!

Trying to find a kid-friendly N64 games for T-Bone for the new Analogue 3D, figured Elmo could help me out.

Elmo's Letter Adventure: 26 minutes
Elmo's Number Journey: 19 minutes.

Not sure who this was made for back in 1999, kids or BlockBuster... Review here:

Elmo’s N64 Games: Two Cartridges, 45 Minutes, Zero Joy
A review of Elmo’s Letter Adventure and Number Journey on N64 — two Sesame Street games so short and shallow they barely qualify as games.

New reading for T-Bone, the Mario Galaxy Kids book, Rosalina's Storybook, has arrived and has found a solid place on my lap. T-Bone likes it, but is it any good? Let's review it:

Rosalina’s Storybook Review – A Mario Galaxy Tale for Little Stargazers
A parent-friendly Rosalina’s Storybook review, covering Nintendo’s Mario Galaxy bedtime tale in print. Charming art and sweet themes, though held back by blurry scaling and stiff writing.

Going through another PEGI 3 game on Game Pass, this time on the search of soup ingredients in the Latin adventure SOPA - Tale of the Stolen Potato, a game with charm but ultimately let down by its point n click mechanics.

SOPA – The Tale of the Stolen Potato: Kids Review From a Dad
A colourful but clunky adventure, SOPA – The Tale of the Stolen Potato mixes charm with frustrating point-and-click logic. A Review.
