It's not too bad, until you forget about self-care, and family, and friends.
It's a double edge sword. One hand I finish most things I start, but on the other end, I ignore just about anything which isn't that current project.

I have hyperactive-impulsive ADHD with a side of hyperfixation.
So not only do I not plan ahead (or when I do I end up doing something else), but when I start gaming, nothing else exists.
So I get to complete a lot of games that I play, at the expense of everything else!

People seem to forget, or are too young to have lived in the NES-N64 era. Average cost of NES-N64 games was $60-$70.
I paid $80 for Chrono Trigger when I was a kid...that's about $170 in 2025 money.
I paid $70 for Ghost of Yōtei this month.

I've loved my PS5! My household has 3 adult gamers and we each have a PS5, mine's a PS5 Pro.
We do have a spare PS5 too...mostly used for PSVR2, but it hasn't been unpacked since we moved last month yet.

It's crazy how far Microsoft has fallen.
Just increasing the price of everything for not real reason.
I own a Xbone, but that's only because I got it for $200 back in 2014ish and Rock Band 4.
Series X has nothing going for it in my eyes...and I doubt the next xbox will either.

My next task is doing the same with my Magic cards...although there are apps that help with it, so no need to manually enter everything into excel. Just use the app then export.
I can't trust my brain to remember things like I used to, too many times it's lied to me. LOL!

Days Gone? If you get the PS4 copy (not from PS+) you can upgrade to PS5...and either get a free plat or play again, like I did, for a 2nd plat.
Astro Bot is fun and simple...so are the Spyro games.
Stray is nice too...and I think there's a PS4 and PS5 trophy list

Ghost of Yotei seems like a simple platinum.
There might be a trophy or two that aren't as straight forward like Tsushima, but overall seems easy. No missables, no online, just simple clean, bloody fun.

Excel is the only way I can track my video games.
I've accidentally bought a few games because I didn't remember I already owned them (Looking at you Arcana Heart 3: LOVE MAX!!!!!)
So now when every I buy a game I check my Excel document to make sure I don't actually already own it.
