still trying to figure out what happened but I think the buttons in my YouTube mobile player became unresponsive because it tried to put a full screen YT Premium upsell pop up on screen but the player was fullscreened so I couldn't see it. had to push the Android back button to see it and close it

who decided that volume on Android should be between 0 and 15? it's not a Base Two thing because then it would either be 8 or 32, not 16. why 0-15????

remaining in touch with tech literacy by deliberately downgrading my phone's assistant from Gemini to Google Assistant.

I can use a real assistant on my phone instead of that AI slop garbage machine

I can tell exactly when new YouTube UI rolled out to the guy who made the YouTube screenshot extension I use because it updated and now it's vertically centered instead of being bottom centered which looks like ass in the new UI specifically

I've been using this phone for over 2 years and Only now am I discovering that installing the Gboard keyboard doesn't change what spell checker it's using, and that's a separate setting for some reason. I've been using the "Samsung spell checker" this whole time.

no wonder why it barely worked

I finally figured out how to bypass the YouTube comments bug.

YouTube comments crash my phone keyboard???

I use Gboard but it and every other installed keyboard freezes when I attempt to type a YouTube comment…

but not if I switch to the godawful stock Samsung keyboard that came with my phone… ew

I hate when UI elements rearrange while I'm using it
I booted up my Quest and immediately went to open Steam Link but then the dock finished loading and Steam Link instantly swapped with Settings mid-click and I opened the wrong app

As I was typing this a window opened and interrupted my typing :(

if you could uncrop all of the screenshots I take on my phone you would find a lot of diagonal pen lines because the stupid screenshot editor doesn't have distinguish between crop mode and draw mode so if I miss the little corners of the crop gizmo by mere pixels I start drawing for no reason :(

there's a lot of duplicate screenshots on my phone because the option to crop the screenshot I just took is a Quick Time Event and the button's hitbox is like really small so I keep missing the button by like 0.1 mm and then suddenly the option to crop goes away and I have to take a new screenshot

love hearing my PC fans rev up to full speed not because I'm doing path tracing or whatever but because I pushed "Save As PNG" in Photoshop and Photoshop is a performance hog in literally everything it does for no reason

I open it and my entire Windows PC, even my mouse goes to 2 FPS for a minute??

I, to my current knowledge, have yet to swear on this account, so this will be difficult for me. The dunderheaded bird-for-brains intoxicated delusional dimwitted morons at Google have decided to check my age with "AI". The same Google that released an AI that told people to eat rocks, glue pizza and kill themselves? Yeah, that Google. I feel nothing but the anger worth the fire of a thousand suns for any halfwit or shill so far up their own behind that they think this nonsense is even remotely acceptable. Thanks to my own self-restraint on my word choice, what I wish of them is left up to your imagination. I believe that privacy should be a basic human right. I also believe that when I tell them I'm an adult, I'm an adult. I shouldn't have to send them a picture of sensitive documents to show up in the next day to breach just to watch internet videos. I believe that all these big tech companies spying on me all the time should be able to figure out that I'm not a child! If they spy on me so much, why do I not get any benefit from the spying? All of their algorithms are still dumb as rocks. If they spy on me so much, why are they stupid? I make fun of Apple because it's funny. I don't make fun of Google not because I like them, but because they're pathetic. They're just sad. I am sick and tired of having to put up with all of this. I am sick and tired of being tossed around like an object to exploit by all of these billion- and trillion-dollar companies. I want to be respected as a living thing with rights. Is that really too much to ask?

If they add the ability to upload audio to Bluesky I will start posting the silly little low quality covers of undertale songs I make on rare occasion

I could do it now but I can't be bothered to open Premiere Pro just to convert .WAV to .MP4

(why does Premiere not support FLAC and OGG???)
