I thought that they didn't offer retraining courses for mobile phone offences.

Looks like either three crept through or the Met has made a mistake on their Jan 2023 - June 2025 spreadsheet.
Question for anyone that has Type 2 diabetes.

Do you use a pin prick glucose monitor? Do you find this useful? Or is it just something that you can get obsessed with?

"Cycling Mikey"
"No, not Cycling Mikey"
"You sure?"
"Yeah, there's load of us."
"There's loads of you?"
"Loads of us, and I'm not Mikey"

The Met Police had a number of spreadsheets available to download from their website that showed the status of reports made by the public.

Using the link I was given these have disappeared. I've tried searching using various keywords with no success.
What keywords should I use, or what is the link?

Just had a Police Officer call me about a driver that I reported last month.

He might want to call round and take a face to face statement. They're not treating it as a motoring offence, but as a road rage offence.

For only the second time I've reported a driver for a Public Order offence, as opposed to a driving offence.

Aggressive middle aged driver with little man syndrome gets out of his car swears in front of children but backs off when he sees my helmet camera.

The full video has now landed, and it doesn't disappoint.

Another excellent production from #MoreThanACyclist

Farewell X/Twitter. I'm keeping my account open, but don't intend posting there again.

Does the NHS suffer a lot from patients not turning up to appointments?

Over the past year or so, I've made a number of visits to the doctors, hospital and clinics.

I used to get maybe one reminder, but now I get several by email, text and phone call.

I went to Court today for a driver that I had reported for using a mobile phone whilst driving, they were composing an email.

They pleaded guilty, so I wasn't called as a witness in the end. The clerk of the Court collected me from the witness room so that I could observe the sentencing.

I'm very passionate about road safety after being run over at the age of 11 by a red light jumping motorcyclist, my wife being the victim of a hit and run driver and me needing life saving surgery following a collision with a left hooking motorist.

I've just had a NIP email for a mobile phone user that I reported on Monday.

Whilst very few reports go to Court, and it's a pain to attend if it does, I'm secretly hoping that it does end up there.

When I caught them using their phone they told me to f*** off twice.

Proof that the Police DO prosecute cyclists for breaking the law.

This is a Court listing for Lavender Hill Magistrates Court this week.

36 years ago Mrs Met was knocked off her bike by a hit and run driver whilst cycling from Croydon to Brighton. She was knocked unconscious and damaged her knee, which she still suffers from to this day. She has never ridden a bike on the road since.

Had this email from Swiftaid, is it likely to be genuine?

Question for any HGV drivers out there. If the job centre funds your training to get a licence (7.5T) is the job worth it anymore?
(Not for me, I'm happy where I am)

There's a website that debunks internet chain letters. I can't remember what it's called. Something like Scopes or Scooped.

Help needed. I've got a few websites that I've not touched for well over ten years. I built them offline using FrontPage but that's no longer compatible with W11. Are there any programs I can use, that does the same job, that will work on W11?

What's the point of banking l driving bans when we have motorists with this attitude?

"Leave at least 1.5 metres when overtaking cyclists at speeds of up to 30mph, and give them more space when overtaking at higher speeds"

"Move back to the left as soon as you can but do not cut in"

Clearly a motorist when he's not riding a bike.

Just had a Court Warning email for Lavender Hill Magistrates Court in July for a mobile phone offender.

I didn't receive the standard 'Dates to Avoid' email and have a work conference that day that I now can't attend. I'm not disappointed, other than missing out on the free food and drink after.

I've given up with the plans for the Hero 9 and dug out my retired Session 4, which means settling for 1080 at 50fps.
I have a GoPro Hero 9 and want to be able to charge it whilst recording. I'm sure that I've done it in the past, but it's not working now.
Any idea how I can get it to work again?
