Talked to Nebraska Rep. Mike Flood during his local media blitz yesterday about the shutdown, saying he thought Trump would do mass layoffs by now.

“Some of that tells me that there's conversations happening outside the media's purview,” Flood said.

Nebraska Gov. Jim Pillen says he would be open to redrawing the state’s congressional maps in the middle of the decade.

As the federal government is likely to shut down tonight, the Nebraska federal delegation stays on message, blaming Democrats for the shutdown.
