Well, you pay for a ticket and you purchase the opportunity to cheer and boo. Personally, I don’t get the booing unless there’s a history of cheap shots or the like. Booing players simply because they’re great is stupid IMO.

He was talking about the No Kings protests, and saying that as a conservative, most left protests do not inspire him to join.
But the recent No Kings did. It was all those ”normie” grandmas carrying American flags

Let’s convert this into votes. And not votes for candidates that can’t win. That’s a loss. Let’s vote for candidates that can defeat MAGAS. We may have to hold our noses sometimes, but it isn’t about us. It’s about defeating them.

These people look like my neighbors. But there are plenty of Americans who don’t look like my neighbors. Or look like me, for that matter. The great majority of Americans believe in the same broad beliefs. We can live together and work on our differences. The problem is with this administration.

If we step back far enough, liberals and conservatives appear to agree on broad principles. It’s an illusion. From an extreme distance our objectives may seem convergent, but they are fundamentally different. Don’t be mistaken. This is a fight.

I’m on this side of cancer surgery and chemo. Now it’s monitoring. Would I preferred not getting sick? Absolutely. But I would rather be the person I am - with my cancer experience- rather than a person I don’t know.

A have a CCL but I wasn’t carrying a firearm when a mentally disturbed man threatened me and finally pushed me down to the sidewalk and struck me. Then he stalked away ranting. That was the extent of it. If I had been carrying, would I have shot him? Would I have lived a life of regret? I wonder.

Yes, the situation is bad but it isn’t fascism, at least not the 20th Century version. I can say “Fuck Trump!” and mean it without fear of arrest and detention. I am not sure what this is, but it isn’t fascism.
