When my manager doesn't listen to me even though I informed him and warned him every quarter to not fully lean into genAI...
Now I don't feel like giving a tried and real workaround when it fails (and it did, he's now scrambling for solutions).

Colleague is hospitalized long term. She is going to go thru treatment and is out of action.

So Christmas was scary, my mum seems to have issues following simple instructions but what hit too close to home was her calling me (and her siblings) the wrong name.
Me & my dad are trying to gently get her to a doctor ASAP but trying to convince her to go is the hardest part.
