making sure their loved ones are safe and happy is definitely a common goal. but they also quite literally live in different worlds...... i wanna do something cool with this but for now its not really anything specific

they both enjoy sitting in silence doing whatever thing they need to do. hugo likes to read and euc crafts trinkets in his free time :D besides that euc is generally more physically active (sword fighting as exercise)

but bc euc is the. King. and his people love him and would crowd around him id imagine a day trip around town would hardly count as a date. they both prefer the quiet anyway. tea in a garden gazebo is their go-to outdoor activity

i feel like this scenario changes a lot in my mind but at the moment it happens in their dorm room while they're studying. euc asks hugo um c-can i k-kiss you.... and hugo's like ok . and then in the future something similar happens but hugo's the one who asks ☺️

it's hugo that finally does something about it (im being very vague sorry) he knows euc is trying to move past his crush so he (very awkwardly) confronts him about it. and then another period of tip-toeing around the topic happens. because they're stupid

euc had made several attempts to confess as a teen but they didnt go anywhere. hugo chose to pretend he didnt notice for reasons. its a very Slow slow burn..... as adults they both tried to ignore theres something between them

by the way their names are hugo (brown hair) and euclase (blue hair)! hugo is a scientist and euc is a king. they were classmates but were separated for 20 years when hugo got sent to another world
