The "ECO" label on the EGO 2-stage snowblower impeller sticker sounds like range at the expense of power. On the contrary: The shear pins will snap before the motor stops turning! Set it low and TRUST it. Turn it up to throw further or walk faster only if it gets behind. Different paradigm from gas.

I do think the concept of "Trust Networks" will become crucial in our post-fact society, but the cynic in me sees this as intensifying tribalism as much (or more) than it will protect groups of smart people from scams and misinformation.

I totally agree with this article, though I prefer TPU tubes to latex because they hold air better
I also like these for their UX:
• SRAM eTap: Better ergonomics. No cables to maintain. No adjustments needed in almost a decade
• Cable-actuated disc brakes. Less maintenance and mess than hydraulic
