Ah, I suspect it was something to do with Left Shift and one of the movement keys (WASD) in combination performing a system command? I've not had this issue myself, but it could be down to Shift+W changing window focus or something...

It is odd - the control prompts on screen were always the keyboard inputs - they should have changed to the controller prompts.
What controller were you using? Xbox and Playstation controllers definitely work, I guess other controllers need more attention...

During dev, we learned that simultaneous use of both sticks was tricky for players.
As a result, the game never asks for simultaneous navigation to solve puzzles.
