We demand that data center projects:

Do not result in rate hikes.
Guarantee energy reliability.
Guarantee union jobs.
Bring full transparency to the community.
Protect our water.
Come with binding community benefits agreements.
No clean-energy loopholes.
Agreements are enforceable.

No rate hikes. No power outages. No secret deals. It's long past time to hold DTE accountable.

Glad Congress is finally acting to address the insane premium hikes on millions of families. Now for an actual long term fix? Medicare for All.
Three year extension of ACA subsidies passes in the House

Let me get this straight.

DTE thinks they can provide us unreliable service, jack up our electricity bills, build a data center anywhere they feel like, and now add a credit card fee?

Hell no.
DTE will soon begin tacking on credit card fee to utility bill payments
A $2.99 per card transaction fee for residential utility customers will go into effect March 2.

If data centers want to come to our communities, they need to follow the people's rules.

Here are our Terms of Engagement for data centers to protect Michiganders.

While Trump was marauding Venezuela and his ICE murdered a mother of three, his policies cost 1100 UAW workers their jobs.

That kind of weakness and chaos is what Mike Rogers supports. Enough is enough.

At least 15 data centers have been thrust into Michigan communities, while state government has rolled over without any clear terms to ensure promised jobs and protect communities.

We the people deserve to know the terms of engagement when a data center comes to town.

I’ve worked alongside law enforcement to keep our communities safe. ICE is not law enforcement—it’s lawlessness in the name of Trump’s power.

So like I said in 2018: Abolish ICE.

Americans don't want Greenland. We don't want war with Venezuela. We want decent healthcare.
January 7, 2026 at 9:43 PM
This is the logical outcome of putting untrained personnel who have been told that they are above the law on peaceful streets. We pray for the victim and her family and we demand an end to lawlessness in the name of the law.

When utilities like DTE and Consumers buy political favor—YOU pay for it.

And every single person running for US Senate has taken a campaign check from them…except one. It’s lonely out here fighting for the people over the corporations.
Electricity rates climb, powering calls for change in Michigan
Michigan's residential electricity rates have more than doubled over the last 20 years, outpacing 46 other states and stoking political discontent.

Trump attacked Venezuela to give oil companies a bump in profits. And your healthcare premiums just went up by an average of 10% across the board.

Are you tired of winning yet?
January 3, 2026 at 11:17 PM
Maduro is a terrible dictator who oppresses people. Of course he sucks.

But so do so many of the thugs Trump so gladly does business with—Sisi, Netanyahu, Milei, Bukele, etc.

So why Venezuela? Fentanyl? He pardoned a drug trafficker.

The answer is oil and only oil.
January 3, 2026 at 7:40 PM
Donald Trump ran on “America First,” a promise to end the era where we waste our taxpayer money waging regime change wars over oil abroad. Last night, he violated that promise, wasting our money in an unauthorized act of regime change war.

People in Michigan tell me every day they're tired of politicians who take AIPAC’s money and vote to send our tax dollars overseas to bomb schools and hospitals while communities here at home watch their schools and hospitals fail.

I'm not here to play by the establishment's rules.

New year, new you? This is the year we reimagine what life in Michigan can be for working people.

Medicare for All.
Free childcare.
Canceling medical debt.
An economy that empowers unions.
Government that stops price-gouging.

Michigan, 2026 is OUR year.

In 2025, we launched a campaign a lot of folks didn’t think was possible. But we bet on Michigan. We bet we could come together around a politics that puts them—and not corporations or billionaires—first, a campaign to get money out of politics, put money in their pocket, and pass Medicare for All.
