Personally I’m glad that the reason Kairi couldn’t go is because she needed to get stronger, unlike that bullshit reason why Sora couldn’t join Riku to find Aqua because he needed to learn an ability that he barely knows about in order to go to a place that he’s already been to

Funny how those two never share any dialog throughout the whole game, the closest they had an interaction is when you had Terra fight both Xehanort and Vanitas but even then Vanitas never says anything to Terra, he interacted with Sully more than Terra
